Description
Position Overview:
The Service Technician Trainee learns residential HVAC service, maintenance, diagnostics, and customer service through hands-on training with experienced technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Assist technicians on HVAC service calls
- Learn heating and cooling system diagnostics
- Assist with preventative maintenance and tune-ups
- Learn to use HVAC testing equipment and tools
- Assist with system inspections
- Develop troubleshooting skills
- Learn proper customer communication and service procedures
- Follow company safety standards
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn the HVAC trade
- Dependable and professional
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred
