Description
Position Overview: The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems while providing a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential heating and cooling systems
- Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Identify potential system issues and recommend appropriate repairs
- Explain repair and replacement options clearly to homeowners
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Follow company safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle
Qualifications:
- HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying weather conditions
