Description
Position Overview:
Work alongside experienced estimators and operations team members while learning HVAC system design, load calculations, estimating, and residential construction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Manual J load calculations to determine system sizing
- Learn HVAC system design, including duct layouts and equipment selection
- Review project plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Assist with preparing HVAC estimates
- Work with field teams and project managers
- Participate in ongoing training and mentorship
- Develop HVAC design and estimating skills
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade school or HVAC/construction coursework is a plus
- Interest in HVAC system design and residential construction
- Strong attention to detail
- Good math and organizational skills
- Basic Microsoft Office/computer skills
- Willingness to learn and apply feedback
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
